The major benefit of full-body training is that it allows you to increase your training frequency. I.e. you can train the key lifts many times per week.
This split is perfect for beginners and early intermediates. It is also great for trainees who need to practice a specific movement pattern often to hone technique.
In general, I recommend that you work out four days a week. However, a full body split can also be done three times per week.
For every major muscle group, the ideal number of times to train them is twice a week. With a full body split, you can even train some movements three times/week
